Ammo Crafting Mods - a host of questions

Post » Sun Nov 28, 2010 1:06 am

I like hard games.

I also like immersion.

I am clueless in real life about fire arms.

Are cases and primers really hard to make?

Would I be able to breakdown ammo and then make new casings in the wasteland?

I am trying to figure out what is a reasonable ammo crafting mod to use.... I tried Gstab's and am rolling in .45-70 ..... so it feels a bit immersion breaking.

Anyone have any suggestions - especially from people who know fire arms? Is the game actually balanced here b/c making cases would be impossible except for a highly skilled technician? If the game already does this correctly - I will forgo any mod at all.

If it doesn't do it correctly - opinions?

L. Fox's Ammo Crafting

It doesnt add casing recipes but all the special ammo variants that are missing

If you want all the recipes you'll need the hand loader perk. All recipes have vanilla like costs, .45-70 is still a rare good, but its great for breaking down surplus ammo and craft some hollowpoint or AP stuff out of it
