» Wed May 16, 2012 10:52 am Ancient Island was first discovered by Ancient Wanderers (a rare race of only three known, voiceless and blind, but highly intelligent with chameleon type abilities) before the time of the Oblivion Crisis.
Ancient Island was later revealed to the citizens of Tamriel by Khajiit (an intelligent, if primitive, race of cat-people). A bonded pair, primarily from their home province of Elsweyr, they shipwrecked on the island seeking a new life and an escape from possible slavery.
Ancient Island soon turned their attentions to fame and fortune where they sought help from the local Bosmer. (The Bosmer are the Elven clan-folk of Valenwood, a forested province in southwestern Tamriel. In the Empire, they are often referred to as Wood Elves, but Bosmer, Boiche, or the Tree-Sap People, is what they call themselves).
They began to inhabit the island and Elf Hall was the main focus of settlement, food was a plenty and life was good, but word spread across Tamriel of Ancient Island and rumours of evil and darkness flowed through the land.
Clues and Secrets lead local adventurers to search for this island and was eventually found by the Hero of Tamriel who later discovered the fate of the Island and The Lost Sigil Stone (the last Sigil Stone of the Oblivion Crisis which nobody knows the reason of, or it's meaning still to this day).
The Lost Sigil Stone was again lost at the end of the Oblivion Crisis, vanishing along with the evil and last hero of Tamriel, it was never seen again.
With this, no one has ever been back to Ancient Island, all known knowledge has been forgotten or lost, until now.
