In skyrim for ps3, all of the brother hood head gear, or most of their head gear has masks if you identify it, in your inventory, but of course it only works for some races/genders, personally my khajiit male and imperial male have the ancient shrouded cowl, but dont show having the mask when playing skyrim. I researched it on the internet and other aslo have this problem, please fix in the next update

Iirc it's been an issue since launch and unlikely to get fixed I'm afraid.

Start a female character, since for some reason Bethesda only gave the masked cowls to female character models.

Aw, no wonder I've never had this problem. I play every game as a female elf. I had to pretend my fem Shep was secretly an elf, lol.

I don't have the mask part, either. An aesthetic annoyance, but the cowl is still my primary headgear.

After spending hours using the less-than-good face maker at the beginning of the game I haven't wanted to cover my character's face. I'm picky that way.

I'm usually wearing an Ebony helmet anyway, don't even swap it for one of the Dragon Priest masks, come to think of it I was stood at my wedding still wearing it which made me chuckle thinking it could be Shrek under there girl, you're far too trusting.

Then again I was marrying a werewolf so I suppose kinky goes with the turf.
