Ancient Vampire?

So I just encountered an Ancient Vampire for the first time in my 200 hours of gameplay, are these new? Also is Ancient higher than Master in terms of ranks?

Not new, Ancient is right below Volkihar and right above master

Master Volkihar vampires are the most difficult to fight, I am a level 81 mage who was using fire spells on them and I died several times.
