Dg and vanilla

Does dg add anything to the regular game besides the yellow eyes on the vamps?

Yes. Fletching, random vampires, new enemy types(flying chaurus thingy for example) and I believe there are a few side quests not related to the DG MQ as well.

Also: new spells, new gear, and new shouts. Plus, I'm fairly certain I've seen some new locations (not necessarily related to the DG quest).
