There's so little we know about Miraak, everything from what race he is to can we align with him...

But what I specifically want to know is; What does he want?

I mean, if he IS stuck in Apocrypha and wishes to return... Then what? What's the game plan? Rule the world? Kill all the dragons? Convert everyone to Hermaeus Mora? What's the end-game for this guy?

-Devours dragons souls
-is stronger than you, at least when it comes to being DB
-ruled over Solstheim

I was hoping that I would gain something from that list, but I have no idea what he is and what he wants.

If he wants to undo the world, it matters not if he does it in the name of the Thalmor or not... and with "undo" I mean undo, not what Alduin was going to do. Alduin just eats the world so that the next Kalpa can start. I don't really see the First Dragonborn wanting to undo reality like the Thalmor do.

eh, I mean- yeah, it all sums up to 'this guy is powerful' but is he "the gun" or "the guy holding the gun?"

Dragons seem like they're nothing more than 'fuel' for Miraak.
Solstheim seems like a small feat for a guy who's had ALOT of time to plan.

Do we actually know he had a lot time to plan anything? He could have beend "dead" the last 5000 years for all we know.

He probably wants more than Solstheim, but he has been gone for a long time ("he seeks to return").. and Solstheim is just what he used to rule in his position as Dragon Priest.. his "home turf".
