And Where Do We Go From Here?

Not having even had the chance to play DB yet, this might come as an odd question. Nevertheless:

With the adventures in Solstheim for this DLC - including the confrontations with some very serious characters like the first DB and the ebony warrior - what is there left to do for our DB characters?

I ask because the design and development of further DLC will be somewhat constrained because of this. After all, if you've maxed out your perks, experience and levels, DB was intended to be a major challenge for you, but if you've also completed DB and all it's quests, what more can there be to do?

Don't get me wrong - there's lots of IDEAS floating around for DLC's which could be wonderful adventures. But perhaps the current limitations on characters (including the effective armor and level caps) might pose a problem for designing effective and interesting DLC's for the future.

Thoughts and comments, anyone?

The next one doesn't have to be as challenging as this one, as long as they can continue to add cool stuff like in DB then i'm happy.

You know something? You bring up an excellent and subtle point.

DB challenges your character - it seems sometimes rather severely. But physical challenges to the player character do not, in and of themselves, an excellent set of quests in a DLC make.

Perhaps future DLC's will simply have to rely more than anything else on storylines. Adventure stories are fun, even without tons of combat, if crafted well.
