How do I get animals in the pen I built in the pale

you have to get a steward by getting someone to follow you to the house so they will ask if they can be your steward. (not all followers will want to become your steward, only one i know who will want to is faendal)

once you get the steward you can buy animals, bard, carriage etc.

Ahhh thank you I shall try that but I wanted benor to be my steward and went to my house before but no option came up but I'll look on the internet for who else can and thanks for telling me

I've nearly completed my whole house just need a carriage and horse and cows and stuff so I need a steward for that but I'll see if Lydia works

keep lydia in the cellar to kill all the skeevers and then hire someone else as your steward. Then you tell your wife to move in. so there will be four advlts living in the one house.

you are given a housecarl and can make that person a stewart.. thats what i did
not sure if you could undo it
cuz then u would have a housecarl plus stewart

Aela was my steward, but there is a glitch with her. At least for me. I asked her to be my steward, and then I remember that she had all of my iron ingots. I asked her to follow me, so that I could get them back. Afterwards, I didn't have the option to ask her to be my steward.

This may be only for me, for only Aela, or for all stewards.

I got Lydia as a steward and then asked her to follow me so I cud get the targe of the blooded shield off her and I never even had to ask her again she just automatically went to steward again
