The size of the file where it becomes unbearable varies for people. Some say it got bad at 6, some say 10, some say 12.
Personally, my file size is 12 MB, and when I start the game up, slight frame rate dips are there in the beginning, nothing too bad. After only 15 minutes of gameplay, any battle with 5+ people is a slide show. Same goes for any major city. You call that a playable game?
Just wait, your game will become as bad as ours before too long and you will understand.
Yes, i will wait. Hopefully you're wrong, but this far i haven't had any real problems.
I'd love to go back to those "after 3 hours of playing" golden days of lag, but for myself (and apparently many others) crippling lag now kicks in within the first hour.
There's a fantastic game underneath it all, but it's hard to feel grateful when you have to reboot the game every 15 minutes. That's not what we paid for.
Yes, that's true, it is amazing. But yes, i shall wait and see what happens. Just voiced my opiinion and experience with the game thus far.
The PS3 version is the crappy version. There isn't any disputing that. Both Lens of Truth and Game Foundry did comparisons and both showed the same results: Unstable framerate, blurred out visuals, unresponsive controls. And while you may think that this isn't a big issue the major thread on Reddit, the forums here, and the comment section of multiple gaming publications would beg to differ. People aren't saying there game becomes unplayable after 7 hours but after an hour or two. There are too many posts and too many videos already up on Youtube to brush this off like its no big deal. There are major issues with the PS3 version and frankly if they are caused by what I'm guessing there isn't going to be a patch because it isn't fixable.
Then, what do you think that causes it?
