Another 1080p Skyrim time-lapse!

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 1:23 am

I just uploaded another Skyrim time-lapse to YouTube! I plan on upoading many more of these, since it's a lot of fun to see the final result. :)

This video is a day's worth of the Riften market condensed into 12 minutes.

Enjoy! :D

I have another time-lapse on my channel, and I should be uploading one every day or two. Stay tuned!

My computer couldn't run it in high-def and 12 minutes was a bit long. Good job on it though.

I wanted people to still be able to make out what's going on instead of just seeing a bunch of blurred figures running around. Thanks for the input though, I'll try to shorten the next one! Maybe start at noon, then go to night? :)

Not to shamelessly advertise my own video, but I think you should've tone it a bit like I did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CzhjqLm7LOg

aka use timescale cheats to speed up the time. 12 minutes is a bit long and the sped up game sounds sound quite weird. The camera angle could've been better too.

Other than that, the video is nice. Loving the quality.

Im still recording some shots for some timelapses too.

I'm not going to use timescale commands, because that doesnt change the npc movement in the video itself.

Also im going to record on 3 screens with a resolution of 4320x900.

So could be used for quite some panning and nice panoramic views!

Both videos look very nice though! :)

Thanks for the criticism! I take no offence to any help that anyone can give, since I am new to making videos! I may even start working on another video tonight, and try to make it even better!

I'm editing with Sony Vegas Pro 11, and I couldn't seem to get it to go any faster than 4x speed. Is there any solution to that? I tried velocity envelopes, but it repeated the clip multiple times when I turned it on.

My video was edited with sony vegas as well. Well as I said, I set the timescale to like 750 or so so the time moves quite fast. I don't really care about the NPCs, I thought it would be kind of more "artsy" if the time would move faster than the people.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you!
