Another Bethesda Reveal Coming?

Post » Mon May 06, 2013 6:45 pm

So not too long ago Bethesda reveled Shinji Mikami's new game being published by Bethesda called The Evil Within. Now it seems another game is on the way.

This morning the official Bethesda Twitter feed tweeted https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BJlmSWlCUAEZreB.jpg:large with the line "discover this morning." They later went onto confirm it was not anything being developed by Bethesda Game Studios and that more is to come today. So yea, it's not Fallout 4. Give it up, that's not coming anytime soon.

Any ideas on what it could be?

I hope 343 Industries finally meet the fans they screwed over for money.

And I want to touch Bungie's face. Destiny <3

Bethesda sure have been fond of spewing out teasers as of late. I have no idea what that image is supposed to represent, though.

Well, at least more info is coming later today. Maybe more stuff about Prey 2? Long shot but thats all I can think of unless this info is for a game that is entirely new

...oooor Doom 4 like Terash Cas mentioned. Didn't think of that :o

It's a vault door!

...oh wait, it's not.

I have no idea, but I wonder which studio is developing it. It could shed some light on this matter.

They said it's not BGS. The only studio left that they haven't promoted is Battlecry Studios.

Oh ya, I forgot about that. Anyone know if Battlecry is completely new or have they done some games before?

Bethesda's Twitter posted that more teases will continue over at Gamespot. To Gamespot!

They were founded last year, so completely new. The president is Rich Vogel, an experienced MMO developer.

Well, better one anyway.

And it was in a odd spot of the website too. No article or title with it. It looked like it was a banner...

Im a svcker for mysteries

EDIT: Okay, over at Gamespot.com, under the "top games" are the images. New ones pop up when I refresh the page. Just thought I would let you know.

Now that I think about it, it very well could be the Battlecry game. Bethesda has been putting out ads for play-testers needed in the Austin, Texas area and that's where they're located.

http://www.gamespot.com/special_feature/y1960/ of that last one from the OP

Okay, so far we have that, http://www.gamespot.com/special_feature/x1960/ andhttp://www.gamespot.com/special_feature/z1960/.

Each one having the title 1960 with a x, y, z letter to each one. Idk if that is related

Eh, I'm not going to try and tie the images to a series but I will at least anolyze them.

My take is that it's in some sort of manufacturing plant. In the first picture on the last row, you can see shadows of workers on the back wall. They're dressed similar to how folks in factories as depicted by the media. There's also the matter of there being a bunch of parts lying around and various glimpses of machinery.

May help, may not, but I figured I'd break it down.

It's Fallout 4, until/unless the actual Fallout 4 announcement (or another game's announcement) disproves it.

Rule #1: NEVER Believe ANY official word from gamesas, ESPECIALLY if they say "It's not something we are currently working on."

Remember in 2009 when Todd Howard said they weren't working on an Elder Scrolls title? Remember that Production on Skyrim began waay back in 2007?

I thought it was proven that Todd was misquoted in that article? I may be wrong, so I am sure someone will clarify here :D

But ya, I guarantee it is not Fallout 4 IMHO

I'm willing to bet everything I posses that it's not Fallout 4. The last several announcements Bethesda has done they've been honest. When Todd denied they were working on Skyrim, that was in a different context. It's not like they teased Skyrim then said it wasn't Skyrim.
