So, I'm heading back from saving Thorald. On the road, I get accosted by Imperials (probably because I free all of their prisoners and kill the soldiers). No biggie, day in the life, right? Well, I run across a Solitude guard in the road and apparently one of those prisoners I freed must've been a skeever fink. Apparently, I'm wanted in Solitude to the tune of 2,040 gold. Yeah, alright you milk-drinking Imperial lackey, I'll play your game. Only, he takes me to Solitude, where I've never been. So on my way out, these Imperials scum are about to behead some poor innocent Nord. I fly into a rage and start slaying, swinging my big old two-hander and spraying scum Imperial blood all over the flagstones. Roggvir actually got away, but I'm not that experienced (level 18 or so), so I'm taking a whooping and all out of sustenance. I hightail it out of Solitude, guards hot on my heels, flicking arrows at me. I've got a sliver of health left, no more, and I reach a cliff and take a flying leap. I made the water by mere inches, and still hear arrows flying after me.
I find a campsite of sorts near to Morthal, looks occupied, but i need some rest. No rest for the wicked I guess, guards are still pursuing me. Into Morthal? I pause to catch my breath and press on, skirting Morthal, wanting to make Whiterun before midnight. I finally get to Whiterun and as I enter the gates I'm accosted by ruffians hired by Alfhild Battle-Born. Guess she didn't like me killing her Troll's backside of a husband (or is it brother?, could be both, you know those Battle-Borns). Well, there's no way this Hagraven is getting away with this. I head over to the Battle-Born's to confront her, sneak in the back, go into her mom's bedroom. Apparently they're still mourning the old hag, her body's still laid out where I left it. And there Alfhild is in her chair. I split her skull at the same instant that little Lars, the princess-boy of a milk-drinker who looks up to me for some reason, walks in to see his mommy's brains splattering the walls.
No rest in Whiterun either tonight, they won't even accept a yield. So I make for the burnt out husk of a hovel that used to be the home of that pretender Nazeem. I should be able to get a few winks out by the Western Watchtower, if I'm careful. Even though I don't get caught, guards are still pursuing me. Was that REALLY a Solitude guard I saw when I was rushing out of Whiterun? Too many guards on the roads and around Riverwood, so I'll have to hope I reach Morthal before morning.
I pay for my room at the inn in that miserable place. Everyone is complaining about some burnt out house and some other nonsense. Still, I can't rest, I'm still being pursued. Maybe I should just head back to Solitude? See if I can pay off my bounty? Or maybe I can head on over to Windhelm? After I was captured, I wasn't really fond of seeing the cities and holds, most of my time was spent in Whiterun and Riften, so I don't know what's going on in any of these places. I decide to head north. The wizard's college and the surrounding hold is a pretty quiet and desolate place, I hear. As I leave Morthal I decide to cut through the swamps. I've enough of roads and being chased, and I've been at it for almost two days now, counting the spanking I gave the Thalmor. About 100 yards into the swamp I hear a voice behind me, the accent sounds like Solitude. "By order of the Jarl..."
Had circumstances been different, I would have expressed my admiration for this man who chased me across three holds and back through the evening. But, as it was, I was tired, out of supplies, and just wanted to put the whole thing behind me. I told him I'd pay off my bounty, so he escorted me back to Solitude.

Boy, I don't care if it WAS a bug that kept me from resting, that was one of the coolest adventures in Skyrim EVER, especially surviving the whole cliff jump things with barely a sliver of red.
