Hey mates, after finding a fix to be able to update my driver as shown here by me:

I was able to play the game. but then it froze every 3 seconds, wasnt playable.

Then I used this fix found here:

and the game was playable but started to lag evey 30 minutes or so and freezing up so I had to exist the game every 30 minutes.

Finnaly I used this fix which I will go to more detial:

So far the game ran for 1.5 hours with no lags, and I even put higher grafics! would try later to put even higher grafics and see if it still works.

That fix basicly deletes the directX from the game foloder that is older then 2010, and update to the driver to:
"Catalyst 11.11b Performance Driver" even if I have a 4870 card that is not supported.

Please help me, I'm a little bit lost here.

I haver v. 11.11 b installed, and the cited CAP (2) right after, as told.

Running smooth, but with the same issue of the previous beta, 11.11a: in every 5 minutes os so, the game freezes for about 10 or more seconds (just the video, the sounds keep rolling).

So, one of the posts in the link you provided tell us to, on top of the above (11.11b + CAP 2) delete DSETUP.dll and dsetup32.dll and every other DX file with no date, is that it?

No, delete everything that has a date and its before 2010, do NOT delete the other files. and to be safe make a backup foloder somewere else.
