Another suggestion thread

I'd just like to see that Bethesda caters to more what the fans want, while they're already doing a splendid job, I would think that it'd be good to have feedback from the players. You can add little things you'd like to see, and general things inside the game.

My suggestions would be that-

1. Not have the game be so... cartooney. From what i've seen, it's a generally Elder Scrolls-y game with the same serious feeling. But there are things like the animations with fighting and things that are far from realistic-looking and something from a cartoon.

2. Unarmed combat. I understand not many people aren't going to use it, but what's the point of taking it out? If I were fighting something I would be at least physically able to use my fists if I were disarmed or something.

3. I'm not 100% sure if it fits with the lore, but the Dark Brotherhood. I've heard rumors about its existence in ESO, but make it a sure thing, please. One thing I'd love to see would be the fact that there could be a contract placed on a certain player, for a reason, and it would be fulfilled by Dark Brotherhood members- either NPCs or actual players. But don't make it too overpowered- only another player with alike skill and level would be able to accept the contract. It might go a bit overboard with having a group of DB members accepting the contract, so it'd be better to have a singular attacker.

4. Crime System. Just because there are other players doesn't mean that the law should be stopped from chasing down a criminal and demanding reparations for a crime.

5. Destructible cover/items/etc. I see that in sieges and whatnot, ballistas and rams can destroy doors and walls, and those falling bricks and such seem to be ragdolls, so please PLEASE allow for things like plants, trees, walls, and random misc. structures be able to have at least some damage done to them.

6. Most aren't going to like this but- less backpack space. Have an easily accessed storage in a certain city or bank, but you can't carry much on your personal self. If you can have an actual backpack, aside, can there be an actual item on your person that you can see? That'd be pretty neat.

That's all i'm going to add, feel free to post your personal suggestions and let's hope Bethesda sees this.

Another one- Darken the lighting a bit. Not even a bit, a lot. Wouldn't it be cool if you were just in a cave and it's dark to where you and your friends need a torch or light source? It sets the mood from just a neutral MMO 'run in here get this get out' theme, there might be a feeling of fear or interest there, like with some caves in Oblivion.

I agree with the lighting but Oblivion went over board. I just had a ring that I put on that gave night vision, I used it 'every' single time I was in a dungeon. Guess what, it turned 75% of my game time in Oblivion an ugly shade of blue because it was a necessity in dark places, especially while playing a stealth character (not a good idea for someone not wanting to be seen running around with a magelight spell or a torch). The sheer darkness of Oblivion annoyed me, a lot. Skyrim got the lighting absolutely spot on, it was still realistically dark but had a adjustment to the darkness which made game play a lot more fun than Oblivion.

So yes I agree with lighting but MMO players 'cheat' by enabling name tags, something you cannot do in a SP game (thankfully). Your other points I also agree with except for the backpack or inventory management. I would have just preferred weight.

I found for myself that my character was a lone. I could all these quests for different guilds but it didn't really seem important. For myself I want my character to be the centre of attention. I want action and change that involves my character...its like my character is a needle in a pile of hay. I'd like to see some sort of player bounties and player homes and npc's wanting your attention from kings/Queens too messengers. Plus for myself I never liked running quests for 100's of guilds it doesn't do immersion justice
