Dragonborns kill dragons , NOT mount them

Dragonborn doesn't have to kill dragon. Actually Dragonborn is a Dragon. Just in a different body. Dragonborn =/= Dragonslayer.

Oh, so I guess you're one of those Parthuurnax killers? Really now, a dragonborn has the soul of a dragon. To take on aspects of a dragon would almost be natural.
The Blades want you to kill dragons, but that choice is still yours.

But yes...The Dragonborn isn't by nature a Dragon Slayer...That's just something the Blades do...The game even gives you the option of just telling the Blades to piss off.

But this kahjiit guy is stupid. Did he have a bad experience with a dragon and his ass when he was younger? He seems to be having nightmares about the two meeting.

Bethesda has completely sold out. My favorite series since childhood has been diminished to nothing but rubbish. I guess everything runs its course - at least Morrowind isn't going to change because Bethesda added dragon mounts to Skyrim. I can still play a 10+ year old game and pretend like the devs still care about the lore when it's blaringly obvious that the truth lies somewhere in the other direction.

I think the people who are saying it's "against lore" don't actually understand the lore in TES, or even understand what lore means. They just want to be "that guy", the guy who always has something bad to say when everyone else is content with what is given, just to be different and "individual"

If u dont like it dont use it, because there probalby will be only 1 - 2 quest that will force u to use dragons as mounts.

I would only dislike it if they dont add spears in "Dragonborn".

Because why would they prioritize adding Dragon Mounts over Spears ?

No offence, but I'm not sure you're certain what the word "lore" means.

I don't quite get all the ire towards the idea, but I'd certainly take it for fast travel any day.
