Any contact info for where I could require about a refundexc

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 1:48 pm

The PS3 version of this game is a mess, and it's unacceptable.

Is there any contact info for where I could call/email to try and get an exchange for the 360 version or just a refund?

I obviously can't return it to the store since it's opened, and I shouldn't have to take a loss by selling it to a third party.

OR you can be mature about it and realize that its a fresh release instead of getting your panties in a bunch. They are gathering dx tags now and working on future patches that will come soon just like fallout 3 and oblivion and every other open world game that hits the shelves. Its like five days old, give them some time.

I own it on pc though and everything is a blast for me. So if its a mess as in bugs, give it time.

To be fair. The 360 has some issues as well. They will be fixed in time

I've been playing it on PS3 for like 5 straight days.

It's crashed 3 times. No big deal, but I've seen other people say they had quite a bit of lag on the PS3. I wonder why some systems do and some don't.

Well, if you don't want to wait for the patch, you could sell it online. Somebody will buy it.

Every platform has some problems but that is guaranteed in a Bethesda game. You should cut them some slack on this one.

Me, I am thinking they known about the bug and release the game anyway without fix it on ps3. Proof, Fallout 3 GOTY,Fallout New Vegas, same thing, they just completely ignored the issue. If Bethesda can truly fix this bug, that will be a surprise because it's the same problem with and they were never fixed.

Here a simple way to get you cash back.

Put the disc in it's case, take the bloody recepit and head back to whatever you got it from.

Instead of you know, annoying people about it on a fourm?

Over dramatic much? Maybe the problem is your PS3, I have it a new PS3 and I haven't had a single problem yet.

That would be a fine idea, if any retailer accepted returns of opened software.

There was a time when games were released when they were actually finished.

I have it on ps3 and I havent come across one issue.

Well just one actually. When I play the game for 8 straight hours it gets a little laggy but I just shut my ps3 off for an hr and Im good to go again,

I hear that if you dont have so many save files it helps the issue. Plus who needs 20 save files anyway

Yea, or you could view it as there was a time when after a game's release, if there was a bug or a glitch you were [censored] outta luck because the company had no way of distributing a patch, nor any intention to. Remember those times?
This argument is getting extremely old and overused.

Usually when you open software, you're out of luck. Maybe contact the BBB but I think that is a long shot.

Interesting because I can't think of a game on for instance, the original Xbox, that crashed even remotely as often or had nearly as many visual glitches as Skyrim.

It's really cute seeing how upset all the fan boys get when you criticise any aspect of the game or talk about refunds.

I would say hold out for a week or two until the new patch comes out. Hopefully that will fix some of the problems being experienced across all platforms. Just play a different game or two while you wait (I got BF3 and ACR to hold me over if needed).

But if you honestly can't wait, and think this game is absolute garbage, I'm sure you can easily return it to your store for some in-store credit (maybe cash - depending on the store), but just know you probably won't be getting even half your money back that way. If they won't accept it back, there's always online auctioning/selling sites (Ebay, Amazon, etc.).

http://www.gamesas.com/eng/contact.php, if you're looking to contact the publisher. Really, though, you're probably out of luck; with software, there's never a "satisfaction guarantee". Probably best not to come to forums for this sort of thing, by the way.

Uh, last I checked this wasn't the customer service. Really don't care about your problems, guy.

Also, I understand your suggestions that I should wait for a patch. And that's a legitimate response.

But there's no way that a patch is going to fix the horrible overall frame-rate (Not caused by large save file sizes), the muddy, blurry textures, the short draw distance, the washed out colors, etc. Maybe we'll we will get a fix for performance issues from a large save file, but that's it. What else can be fixed? None of it.

I Redbox'd the 360 version today and it's like playing a different game. The differences are night and day. It runs smooth, the colors are rich and vibrant, the textures are sharp when they're not bugging out.

Hell, I'm a PS3 guy through and through. I HATE playing games on my 360, I can't stand the controller. I buy all of my multi-plat games on PS3 without any hesitation whatsoever. But this time I just can't 'svck it up'. This version is just over-all terrible.

I'm simply asking if there's anyone I can e-mail or call to try and get a refund or an exchange for the 360 version. I can't return it to the store since it's been opened, and I don't see why I should have to take a loss by selling and rebuying. When you drop $60 for a game I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a halfway decent experience, especially when you have to pay the same amount as those who are getting a vastly superior experience on the 360.
