Hey really the only gripe I have about the female argonians is that they all sound like friggin old ladies and bugs the crap out of me. Does anyone know of a mod that'll change my voice (just player voice please)?

I believe there's a Skyrim Re-Voiced Project, but I think it only JUST got started, and with Male High Elves to make them more young/effete.

You might try http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=14181 - this mod adds several new female Argonians NPC, with a different voice. I believe there is also a version that replaces the voice for Wujeeta and Shahvee.


Not 100% certain, but I believe it only modifies the player voice (when shouting, grunting, etc.), not NPCs.

EDIT: Woops, totally misread that, didn't notice sushi2k is talking about the player voice.

I haven't played a female argonian, but I didn't even realize there is any difference in the player voice. The vanilla male player voices all sound the same. Are there different female player voices for different races?

I... only have played female Redguards, but I've heard more than one mention of how the shouts are supposed to be differently voiced for each race/gender combo.

That's what I recall also from some interview before the game was released; however, I've played a male Dunmer, Nord and Argonian and the shouts sound pretty much the same. I was hoping there would be some cool raspy Argonian version of "Fus Ro Dah," but he sounds just like my Nord.

I've noticed my followers have different grunt noises depending on their race, but I think the player grunts are the same, at least for males.
