Any horse mods for NV?

Are there any horse mods? I think it would be awesome to be able to ride a horse through an apocalyptic Old West. Has anyone ever made any good horse mods with rideable horses?

There are no horses in FNV. Looks like ALL of the horses has died after the radiation. But yeah such a mod would be awesome especially for cowboy kind o' characters. :D

I know that it is not lore correct. But still, I would love to see some mods with rideable horses.

It was pulled off in Morrowind, which is just a much earlier version of the same engine used in New Vegas.

I find it odd that most animals mutated considerably except for dogs. Without working trains, cars, and planes (there are a few working cars in Fallout games), you'd imagine that horses would become considerably more important. And quite literally, you'd need cowboys to herd brahmin. So I think horses have their place.

Actually you guys are kinda wrong...there...SORT OF...are horses...buuut...they are robotic ones.

Someone could easily create some robot horses based on the pony in the advertisemant from fallout 3.

There are two technical problems, which may be solveable. The first one is to get a horse, with skeleton and animation, into the game. It is vaguely possible that oblivion horses and animations could be brought in, or I suppose we could think about riding some of the pack brahmin which are in the game. The second one is animating the player to mount, dismount, and change the camera view when mounted. Both of these would require a huge time investment. I agree it would be cool, but having a pony in an advertisemant is only one small step in this direction.

You can't bring Oblivion game content in via a mod. However, you could ask a modder who worked on horses for Bethesda permission to use their assets.
