Any News on Rebuilding Rooms

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:12 pm

I was wondering if in a latter patch they make to players a option to switch out room designs. Like I at first built a greenhouse but now i want the extra room for the many npcs roaming around at night at my lakeview place.

You already have unlimited options to rebuild, you save the game before you start, or you start a new character. They are not ever going to provide a patch for something the players can already do themselves.

Only the base game can be patched so don't expect anything to be addressed, the bug in certain european verisons of dawnguard that made people show up in underware was due to a mismatch between the base game patch and the DLC. Because the issue was rooted in the base game it was possible to fix. But actually changing the features of Dawnguard can only happen by reuloading the DLC necessitating that people delete the DLC and redownload it.

In that case they don't need to fix any quest breaking bugs, the player can just save before they start the quest, or start a new character.

Those are actual bugs that need fixing, although you can still get past most supposed quest breaking bugs by just doing it again. If it is serious enough they will do a patch. They are not ever going to do a patch to add something to enable the player to rebuild when that comes as part of the game already. Would be different if you could not save the game before doing anything, or if you could only create one character.

I'm sorry that's like the dumbest thing i heard all day today.

I'm sorry, that's like the SMARTEST thing i've heard all day.
