Besides preparing that stupid, and unnecessary Welcome Back Package, I don't see what there is left to do for them. What good is a Welcome Back Package if we've been playing online for 4 weeks now. I just can't figure out why they are dragging their feet with the store. Sure they said the network would be restored to full functionality by the end of the month. However to me that is something to shoot for, not an excuse to purposely delay access to the store, until that targeted date is up.

I wonder how this will affect the Old World Blues release date. I'm sure that it will have to be pushed back depending on when we actually get the PSN Store back, and when we can actually play Honest Hearts.

Who knows whats taking the store so long I'm not a network expert but I'd assume that bringing the store back up could be rather complex even if nothing went wrong. I doubt it would affect OWB since it'll probably be released nid June and all the store will be caught up by then.

We don't even know that for sure. They have targeted May 31st as the time when full functionality will return. A targeted date doesn't mean confirmed, we could be sitting 2 weeks into June without the store.

Yeah its possible but it seems unlikely that it would be another 3 weeks before they could at least cobble something toghether that would function until the could bring the store back up, We also don't have a date for OWB so it could be the end of the month really we have very little information on the whole situation, although the psn matinance is being taken as a sign that the store will be back soon.

Lets just be glad we dont have to wait half a year before it is released on ps3.. and on the bright side: when you have honest hearts, OWB will follow quite soon after that.
