I just realized I may have screwed up something major...
I was exploring around knowing nothing about thirsk mead hall when I met the Nords on the coast who I accepted to help... When I arrived at the Mead Hall all the Rieklings were marked as enemies so I had to kill them ...

And I just saw on the forums we could get an awesome riekling follower and I badly want one, unfortunately I have no previous save ...
I have the "Retaking Thirsk" quest in my journal but isn't there a way to botch it and joind the rieklings instead? Please tell me there is ...

Once the place is rebuilt there are loads of black briar reserve around the place. There is also a cooking pot, bed, and smith.

I think you can still change your mind if you haven't wiped them out. Fortunately I had a save right before and I did the reverse of quest. I agreed to help the rieklings and did the first 2 quests then talked to the Nords and decided to help them. It showed quest failed for the rieklings.

The Riekling option seems to be a lot more fun.
It's too funny how those little guys forced the Nords out of their mead hall.

I just hate myself for not having checked the forums beforehand... The hall is emptied and there are only the little tents left

I am lucky, I walked by the place while I was exploring before I found the nords. Needless to say I don't think anyone will be finding any nords...
