Any solid facts on player housing? Opinion good or bad?

I'm wondering of anyone knows any solid facts or good rumors of possible player housing, or even guild halls. My personal take is if it can be done, and be done well it should be put in.

Il be the first to admit I'm not a huge role play person but in every game I've played that housing was available it was always a great intrest to me and I sunk hours into it. I'm not sure what the argument against player housing would be but if there is one I'm interested in it

No player housing at launch.

It's on the board for an expansion/ or update.

Currently Guilds conquer Keeps in Cyrodil to claim their home.

You must fight to defend your guild's honor!

Also you can open a shop in your keep.

And other [undisclosed] keep upgrades for your faction points.

Its been brought up like a million time before.. and devs have mentioned it, no clear answer though, but they said zones arent designed for houses. All I gotta say is if they are gonna do it, gimme something cool like Castles, Towns etc. Who want some lame houses. Something for Fantasy heroes.
