Any Way To Change Screenshot Location

I'd like to force Skyrim to put my screenshots in a more accessible folder. Is there any way to do that?

I created a shortcut to Steamapps/Common a long time ago, especially for using mods.

To answer your question, no you can not change the location, so make a shortcut to the folder and place it on your desktop or where ever.

Speaking of taking screen shots....how do you get your character battle ready and able to take a frontal shot?

Press and hold 'f' and rotate the camera. It's not the best function, but it works.

Use these console commands:

tfc 1
tm

(don't forget to close the panel when you've written the commands)

When you've taken the pic:

tm
tfc 0

Ah okay, thanks. Will give that a try when I fire up the laptop again. Actually managed to make a realitively pretty boy (amazingly enough), and he needs some pictures :D

My main game is on the PS3, but recently decided to get it for my laptop/mod interest (gets that hot air blowing pretty fast but it's run well so far).

Create a library for Skyrim in Windows and place the screenshots folder in it. You can also add the main Skyrim folder and the one in My Documents>My Games.

Sadly this is a foreign language to me.... I have no clue how to do the command stuff. If you're up to it, please enlighten me. :D

After using the "tfc" command already posted, you can also slow the camera while moving around your scene by using the "sucsm" command, lower the value to get the perfect shot, otherwise the free-cam tends to fly around too fast. I use "sucsm 3", default is 10. Really useful for getting the perfect screenshot. You can change the value as you wish.

Hit the ~ button.
Type: TFC 1
Type: TM
Hit ~ again.

Now you can control the camera using you mouse and keyboard, and your character (and all characters) will stay in the pose they were in when you hit ~.

As mentioned, I have no clue how/where to input that kind of stuff. I'm a super casual computer user. Me push button, something happen. But I'm trainable :)

Sounds like something I can handle. If something blows up in So Cal... I hit the wrong button.

Well, you're in the best place to ask,. "TILDE" key to open up the console on PC is directly above the TAB key.

So, out of curiosity? These commands pretty much the same as hitting the pause button, just more control?

~ pauses the game
TFC 1 freezes all characters after you unpause (hit ~ again)
TM the menu and HUD on/off.

Once you type TM (and hit enter, I forgot to say that) your menu and all HUD will disappear. DON'T PANIC! It's all still there, just not showing. As such you won't be able to see what you just typed in and have to remember "where you are".

When you're done with you photosession, hit ~ again and it brings up the console (although you won't be able to see it cause you turned it off, remember?). Just type TM again and hit Enter, and voila! There it is. Now you type TFC 1 again and hit enter and once you hit the ~ key to close the console, you're back in action.

Now post some awesome screenshots!

Edit: Here's some more commands to play with once you feel comfortable with it: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console
