Any way to force ragdoll mode on actor?

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 2:06 am

In Oblivion you could drain an actor's fatigue to force them into ragdoll(collapsing on ground). But in Skyrim there is no fatigue value ( ), and stamina doesn't work in the same manner. So anyone know a console command I could use, except from killing the actor? :P

I don't know of any command doing that, but using unrelenting force shout put them in ragdoll mode, so obviously there is a way.

EDIT: I recall now there is a function (not sure if it can be used as a console command) to give objects a push. I suppose it's related.

Try "pushactoraway 0" in the console. (if 0 doesn't work try other numbers)

It works. The syhtax is pushactorawya IDnumber number . the lower the number is, the more violent the actor will fall to the ground. 3 or more and it will be raised before falling. -13 or less and it will bounce. The actor will also bounce if is raised enough before the fall.

Looking around in SkyEdit there's an "Energy" actor value (formid 000004b2). No idea what it does, but it seems like the closest match to fatigue.

Hmm, nah lowering that didn't seem to do much. Probably some leftover value from fallout.

Yeah, I tried it out too, not much effect. Only thing that comes to mind are some variables related to AI behavior, aggression and energy level, if I'm remembering right. On an unrelated note, there's also a "jumpingbonus" actor value, but it doesn't seem to do anything, I guess its left over from Oblivion maybe?
