Anybody else surprised with the representation of the races?

When I first watched the Alliances trailer, I was blown away. But what surprised me was the fact that the Daggerfall Covenant 'Barbarian' was a Breton!

Breton's are Mages! And shorter than the other Man races. I thought he was a Nord! Plus, the Assassin-Thief character is a Nord! At the most, I expected each race to be in the other one's place. But go figure, I suppose. :P

I'm not bashing at all. It just surprised me a little. Anybody else feel the same way?

its been the TES "way' that your race does not always determine ur "occupation"

everyone can be anything they want, in fact I find it refreshing and TES-ish

You apparently mixed things up

In all videos there is Breton sneaky type, Altmer caster type and Nord warrior type (probably the one you refer to as barbarian)

Those characters will play role in the main quest for each respective alliance

That being said, Bretons with all their innate passion for magic, caused by Mer ancestry, have you ever seen an Elder Scrolls game that forced you to make a Breton caster? Unless I missed the memo, you could always go brute warrior way

Was there any Argonian represented in the trailers, and what class?

Correct. If you watch the first part of the cinematic you'll see a female Dunmer use a staff to light up the dungeon corridor and is about to move forward only to be stopped by the big brutish barbarian. The archer is indeed a Breton.

There's only been the one trailer. Nords, Dunmer, Bretons, Imperials and Altmer was all that were included.
