Search at the Nexus and the German and Italian translations show up...but not the original. Links to it fail, and another link took me to a wallpaper, of all things. Is the Nexus having some issues lately?

That link also furthers links to - http://www.skyrimforge.com/mods/more-dynamic-shadows-striping-fi/files/2-more-dynamic-shadows-with-striping-fixed-v2-9-2-localized/ which is a even newer version, according to the change log it does solve a number of problems plus it mentions records are now disabled instead of deleted which I believe is quite important.
(Also uses custom strings for localization which is another nice improvement.)

EDIT: Also thanks, that version I used was completely outdated in comparison to either of these.

It's the same version on both both the workshop and Skyrimforge so far as I can tell (2.9.2), but nice to have a non-subscription option in either case.
