My Xbox 360 is telling me that until I update my payment option, my Live account will be suspended. Trouble is, when I do update my information and submit it, this error code pops up: 8016271F.

This means is that there is an issue with my payment option. Obviously, I checked my credit card account for issues, found none, headed to xbox.com to access my account data and other features, and it told me that I had found a "glitch in the system". What Really annoys me is that this bullcrap started the day before the new Borderlands 2 update with Krieg and the third playthrough came out, so I have no access to that, and I cant play with my group, so I will fall behind their average level.


Any help would be appreciated.

It might have to do with the issues Xbox live is having at the moment, saw the story on gameinformer a while ago

I don't use Xbox Live, but I was in an artist's livestream chat where he was chatting with people over Skype. Heard someone comment about this over the course of 2 hrs where they couldn't log into their stuff.

Hmmm explains why I couldn't chew out the guy that invaded me in the catacombs in Dark Souls. I thought he blocked me or something.
