Anyone else miss the respawns?

I'm talking enemy respawning. The thing that kept me glued to FO3 so long after beating it was killing enemies. But in FO: NV if you kill an enemy they're dead for good what's up with that? I want enemies to respawn no matter what even if it's the deathclaws in the Quarry. I have considered taking this game back just because I now have nothing to do. I beat the main quest, side quests bore me to tears if they aren't for a good item or seomthing and I've almost found all the areas. Can there please be a patch so I can have my enemies back?

Really? Not for me. the only enemies throughout my entire game that respawned were some of Caesar's men in the Fort.

I've had them respawn. One example would be at the REPCONN facility. I went back to collect the enormous amount of batteries worth 75 caps each and when I fast traveled I was attacked by another 10 ghouls. And I have seen it a couple other times as well.

Okay to be more specific I saved after my friend told me it ends like FO3 (no continuation) so I saved before the big battle/last quest or whatever so I could roam around and do stuff.

I've had respawns as well. Like the pack of Cazadors at the docks on the north edge of Lake Mead. Or one of the small Powder Gang camps.

Well I just fast traveled to REPCONN and fought some ghouls as well, maybe just some enemies don't spawn?

Some areas, the enemies are flagged to not respawn. Other places, they will respawn, but maybe only 1 or 2 instead of 5 or 6.

(I'd have to go digging around in the GECK, and it's too late at night for that.)

I myself just noticed they lowered the leveling requirements but only created a finite number of enemies. Probably an incentive to explore the game, I think.
