So I'm playing as Ruin, running across the wastes looking for toasters to add to his army of them (not much else to do after 40 :rofl:) and decided to see if I looted Goodsprings yet. So I went up to Victor's Shack and noticed his face was missing! So I went up to him, tried talking and all it says is this: "It seems like the robot's artificial intelligence is offline.".

I found it weird, never noticed this and it seems to happen after the quest The House Always Wins, III. I think. I noticed it while having THAW, IV active.

Ya if you kill or disable House, Victor disables as well. Which is still weird IMO because the Securitrons are up and going still, unless you have Yes Man on the A.I.

Oh I know that. I just found it odd that he disables and House is still alive. I agree. It just doesn't make sense if you side with NCR or Legion.

If he is only out in Goodsprings and still shows up in the Strip, the explanation is that Victor isn't one robot. He is able to switch his "personality" between different Securitrons. This is the same way that Yes-Man never dies and how Victor always stalks you like a ninja. I can't remember how, but I think you can get him to tell you this by passing some kind of check.

Yeah I noticed this...it makes Victor even creepier. Victor used to be my number one name for my future son, and that robot single-handedly ruined

Yeah. Old "Light are on but no one's home" Victor is sittin' there in Goodsprings for me, also. I think once you get to Novac and he warps there, the securitron in Goodsprings goes vacant.
