Anyone else prefer the penthouse suite in the Lucky 38 to th : Fallout: New Vegas

I like the "penthouse suite" in the Lucky 38 (the room with Mr. House's office and such) much better than the room he gives you (the presidential suite). The presidential suite is too dark and just svcks IMO.

I modded the L38 presidential to my liking, but I prefer the penthouse in the Lux. Over either room in the 38

The vaults corridors run wide and deep...

I agree the penhouse is just nicer. Hell i would gladly live in the cocktail lounge, its not dark, its not red and its roomy. I wish I was on PC for the mods.

It has interesting "features", but there's just something about being at the top of the tallest building in New Vegas. Also it's huge and has great lighting.

I don't use the comped suites because I'm not going with those factions on the Strip. I tend to get out of the city to the Safe House or the motel where it's quieter and one can think.

They're allowed in anyway, just don't talk to victor to enter the place...to the presidential suite anyway, they're never allowed in the penthouse

I use teh motel room in Novac as my main base, but in the strip i like the room in vault 21. It has 'benefits' that you don't get elsewhere.

I prefer a place that takes one loading screen, Abandoned BOS Bunker and Novac Motel Room.

I really like the L38 one better because it's just.... better.

It can also hold your companions for you so you don't have to go to different places.

I personally prefer the Novac motel room because it loads faster and I can get to it quicker. However, my characters who are siding with Mr House still use the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite, and I would love to be able to go up to the Penthouse or at least upgrade the lighting of the Presidential Suite.

I prefer the Lucky 38.

Sure the presidential suite is gloomy and seems like a gloryfied prison cell (no windows) but time doesn't move there. Its an oasis of tranquility and serenity.

Besides at the lucky 38 I have the entire bar to myself. Should I need anything I could go to victor and he would most likely get it for me. And I don't risk some ninny trying to kill me since I am living in a fort protected by securitrons.
