Anyone else think the last quest for the Dawnguard main ques

Does anyone else think the raid on Castle Volkihar is disappointing? I mean when you meet with the rest of the Dawnguard at the front of the castle it feels like you're going to fight your way into the castle and fight your way through a large indoor battleground to get to Harkon.

Except all I faced were a couple gargoyles and a few vampires and the 'indoor battlefield' was just an ornate dining room with a dusted chapel.

Anyone else feel underwhelmed by the last mission? It didn't feel as triumphant as the Main Questline or the Civil War Questline.

The dlc was rushed towards the end. Its the same for the vampire side. There are left over npcs that were going to be used in quests that just stand there or sit at a table 24/7 but the content got cut.

It makes me laugh that they can spend months on a massive dungeon and give it tons of details and scripting, Yet when they got to make a small fort/stronghold they botch it up.

I thought it was awesome. Playing on expert, spells and swords were everywhere. Then the final battle with Harkon was excellent, especially with the music and exploding arrows.

The raid was AWESOME, the Vamp version where you dont get to fight anyone but Harkon was disappointing

I don't know, the DLC peaked when you were in the Vale trying to get Auriel's Bow, but the raid was less spectacular than exploring the Vale with Serana.

I agree that the Vamp questline was extremely underwhelming towards the end. But all in all, the DLC was amazing. A few things could have been tweaked, or added, but I am content. I don't feel that the DLC was worth a $20 price tag, maybe $10-15.

Well, if you side with the Dawnguard it isn't anti-climactic but the ending is still disappointing.
