Yeah, I'm torn between my awesome and godlike Dawnguard armor and the new Miraak attire. And with my Dawnguard stuff I use a Dragonbone sword and the Dawnguard Rune Shield, but with the Miraak stuff I use Miraak's Sword and Staff. So there really is no best of both worlds.

Yes, I like to change armors often but prefer my Dwarven crossbow over other weapons, as I have it enchanted to the hilt. My next step is trying Miraak's armor, but can't decide if I want to use his weapons or stick with my favorite.

Every [censored]ing day.
Sometimes I'll stand in my armory and just cuss because there's too many armors I WANT to wear...
...Dammit all, why can't I wear more than one cuirass?

I totally love the new Nordic armor. But I need a copy for one handed perks and another for two handed, and a third for archery, and then there is destruction...I am glad I have so many mannequins to house them all. I am starting to feel like the male version of skyrim barbie!

No, not really. It depends on my character. Sure, my mages may wear robes, but my armor wearing warriors will pretty much use what I think is the coolest looking, most effective stuff that I dual enchant. I am not, nor will I ever be so into it that I say "Oh, my nord HAS to wear nordic....." or "My orc HAS to wear nordic blah blah blah......". The new stuff is okay with Carved Nordic being the best (i.e., coolest looking to me), but I just go with what I think looks what is appropriate to my toons.

Depends what I'm playing but a female Orc in Orcish armour - that's a winner, every damn time. Hmm...Orcish weapons should be more dangerous than Dwarven shouldn't they since you need smithing skill of 50 and not 30? Oh well, I bet there's already 100 threads on that one.

Think it would be tougher if I had it on PC with the creation engine and all the mods... Picking one out of so many good looking armour and weapon sets would be a bit of a nightmare...

Stalhrim looks so freaking cool, but so does Nordic Carved. At the same time, for my Light Armoured character, Morag Tong looks amazing, but is weak and also I want to use Blackguard's Armour. Ah! :c

Nah. Depends on my character. I was a little torn at first between my old favorite armor which was ancient nordic, but Nord carved won over in the end. Stalhrim light I use on my two handed character. Wasn't hard to choose for him since I hate the light armor choices except for stalhrim and scaled.

I'm in love with Deathbrand or Light Stahlrim. Ancient Nordic Culture with a spin.

Been using Auriels' Bow with Blood Cursed arrows. Because I don't like sun explosions. Then just ring and necklace of peerless archery that I bought at Radiant Rainment.

Looks great just about everywhere I go.

I'm still partial to elven. I try every thing else out, but I always find my way back to elven. I guess I'm a light armor guy and its easy to get elven smithing early.

The light Stahlrim has the best look out of the light armors so I'll stick with it for a while. Used Glass before that since Dragonscale looks a bit like trash to me.

The character I took to Solstheim uses Light Armor with Bow, dual-wielding a War Axe and Dagger.
And since getting a feel for the added armors and weapons, he now has specific sets for specific environments.

At altitude in snow and ice:
- Stahlrim Light Armor
- Enhanced Crossbow (so a quiver doesn't cover up the beautiful brigandine leather padding)
- Stahlrim War Axe and Dagger

At night or in the Southern holds of Skyrim:
- Morag Tong Armor
- Nordic Bow with Daedric Arrows
- Nordic War Axe and Dagger

Everywhere else in Skyrim and in the ash wastelands of Southern Solstheim:
- Chitin Armor
- Dragonbone Bow and Arrows
- Nord Hero War Axe and Mehrunes' Razor

I decide where he's headed before leaving the Manor...then equip and arm appropriately.

That's why I have so many characters. That way I can experience them all.

Usually i use Daedric+Konahrik, but sometimes Dragonbone+Rahgot or Dbone Helm. Sometimes its hard choose what mask or helm i wear, even armor. Weapon is usually Dbone Sword or Dbone Bow+Daedric Arrows.

I absolutely love Miraak's armour and weapons, but they are nowhere near my high-level stuff.

I normally switch between Daedric and Dawnguard gear. Currently wearing Daedric gear.

I wont wear the Bonemold because it is Redoran Bonemold.... Hlaalu Bonemold Armor is where it is at.

The Stalhrim armor is too furry for me.

Nordic Armor is cool but I prefer not to wear armor that my enemies wear.

Never a fan of Chitin Armor. Also, I'm loyal to the Dark Brotherhood so no Morag Tong armor for me.

Will wear Telvanni Robes or Temple Priest Robes when doing pure mage.

I would like to enchant my own "Blackguard Armor," but you can never find Thieves' Guild that is unenchanted. :sadvaultboy:

My female Nord Berserker wears Carved Nordic in Skyrim, Bonemold (with the guard version cuirass) in the ash affected areas of Solstheim, Stahlrim in the northern parts of Solstheim and Skyrim (light or heavy version depending on mood as she's equally effective in both), Ancient DB armor when she's on missions for the Night Mother and Miraak's outfit for dragon hunting and around town.
