Anyone else using a gaming keyboard with programmable keys?

Hey hey!

Using a Logitech G15, wondered if anybody has any recommendations with regards to the programmable keys. Did anybody use them for anything cool in Oblivion, or for any other games? Also, the LED screen is pretty handy during games to constantly see your stats, does anybody use it for any more creative purposes?

I'll be using a G510 but prolly use my Belkin N52te keypad for macro keys. I didn't use it for Oblivion because the key commands were simple enough, but my god, I had to really map out that Witcher 2 game, lol.

For skyrim though, mix of wireless X-Box controller for exploring, keypad for macro (prolly for weapon swaps and spell swaps) and keyboard for inv, map, and keyboard / mouse for fighting

i still have an old logitech G15 but i was looking at upgrading it! because i already have the G930 wireless headset and the G700 mouse! the G15 looks ugly next to the other gadgets!

so which one is better? G19 or G510!

EDIT: G19 because i need a close by usb port for my G700

other then that i use a wireless xbox360 controller :)

Programmable keys and such are pretty much only for Blizzard games and MMOs in general.
I was competitive in TF2, and never needed something like that. You are not going to need it for Skyrim.

Razer Anansi MMO keyboard and Naga 12 button mouse.
Both help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome.

I have a http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Laser-Gaming-Mouse-RZ01-00280100-R3/dp/B002MPPRPO and a http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G13-Programmable-Gameboard-Display/dp/B001NEK2GE/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1320852629&sr=1-1. While I didn't use my G13 in Oblivion since the movement/action keys were easy enough, the Naga was AMAZING for the numerical hotkeys. Anything you set is just right under your thumb. It's a fantastic mouse, I'd definitely recommend it.

I don't use a gamer keyboard, but I have a Razer Naga gaming mouse. It's ingenious.

I recently bought one of these, but I'm slightly technically challenged and couldn't map the G keys to function as hotkeys (the numerals on the keyboard as standard). I'm a lefty, and would love to have the G keys mapped to hotkeys, but I'm not sure how to do it. Any help you guys could throw my way would be appreciated!

No but I just bought a gaming mouse with two extra buttons. I figured it could come in handy in skyrim.
