I have gotten to the point where I delivered the idol to the king of trolls, delivered Greu his present, and have talked to everyone I could about my finishing the quest except the king of humans. I have gotten the calling that some dark ominous voice needs me as I was passing through the original direction to the outpost. Just before this, I was at level 1, just approaching level 2, and then I completed he missions, talked to everyone about my completion except for the human king, and on the way, I seemed to jump to level 3, and now I see I'm actually on level 4 with 10,000 XP. What's going on here. Is this normal, or did some sort of glitch net me about 8000 XP over the course of this mission of getting the Idol and Greu's present?

I would have thought it impossible to still be level 1 on trolls quest...
but yes you probably jumped a few levels from completing the quest you get the most xp from quests.
