Anyone had experience with Real Unleveled Skyrim?

Hey,

I was looking through some mods and came across Real Unleveled Skyrim (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19636). It's only been out a short period of time and so it doesn't have many endorsemants yet. There is also another mod called Skyrim Scaling Stopper (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9857). However, the latter doesn't sound as good since it places 80% of the enemies between level 15-20 and about 17% between level 10-14 and the remaining 3% at level 21+.

It looks very interesting. It promises to produce a Fallout: New Vegas vibe whereby although there are many places you can go at low levels there are many places that will be impossible. Currently, in Skyrim you can do more or less anything at any level due to the level scaling. I personally, do not dislike the level scaling that much but I agree with others that it removes the sense of progression.

I've been playing with SkyRe and ASIS and finding the game to be a constant uphill battle due to the new implementation of features couple with the level scaling. The level scaling is actually strengthened with SkyRe, therefore even at level 20+ I feel constantly like a lamb fresh for the slaughter.

The Real Unleveled Skyrim mod can still be used with SkyRe apparently, you only need to deactivate the SkyRe-encounter zones.esp as it is replaced with the Real Unleveled Skyrim mod.

Any experience with these mods?

No but it sounds good, might give it a shot.

Would be nice if a Skyrim equivalent to OOO was in development but it's so much work for whoever decides to take the task on. This sounds promising though.

It's only been out a couple of weeks so doesn't have much feedback, so if you were planning on starting a new character soon you may want to try with this mod.

I will start a new character as soon as I stop getting hit in the face with mod bugs, utility bugs, serious mod conflicts, and mods that corrupt the save game file. With only 10-20 mods these things are happening on a near constant basis.

Like every time I load the game.

I've never been so humbled by this experience.

But yes this may just be what the doctor ordered.

Watch though - we find it was made with TESsnip or something.

It's made by the same mod author that made Mighty Dragons and is indeed reccomended to use alongside it by said author. Is he known to use TESVSnip?
