Sorry if this is not where this post belongs, but I was wondering if someone could hep me out with this.
I have Skyrim for PC. At the beginning of the game as I make my escape through town I hotkey my weapons using the "F" button in the items menu....Doing this allows me to press "Q" in combat and change my weapons/spells on the fly without having to go all the way through the menu. Once I got out of the tutorial area and was allowed to explore on my own, I realized I can no longer favorite/unfavorite my items and I don't know why! I want to favorite a new Bow and It wont let me. I also found some new daggers and I cannot hotkey them! is anyone else experiencing these issues or is it just me? Thanks in advance!

Yeah i have issues getting it to work too...
My movement controls are 'esdf', my favorite key is set on ' v ' and ive also tried other keys like g h ect..
Nothing works to either put something as favorite or even open the favorite menu, infact i havnt even seen the menu yet.

I still unable to hotkey any weapons or spells. I press F to bind my hotkey but nothing happens...No one else is having this issue ? Am I missing something ?
