Anyone just have a character that doesn't marry?

I don't know why, but when starting a new character I'm always worrying about who they're going to marry because I feel like I have to.

With my current character, a male Argonian, I was thinking of having this be my first character that just remains a bachelor. The only female Argonian in the game is bugged so that she never gives you were quest for marriage, and I'm not sure if my Argonian would be into other races (though he's an open-minded guy, so who knows). Might be just him and his Housecarl living at home, no wife to warm his bed. =( It's not all bad. It's a lot easier to be a free-weeling adventurer when you're not tied down.

Almost none of my characters marry.

My original Dragonborn did - he will likely adopt once he gets back from Solstheim. I also made a character designed just to have a family and live quietly (inspired by the Rags to Riches videos).

Second Dragonborn won't marry (hmmm....why?), Khajiit have too much love for just one person, vampires are busy with other stuff.

I never marry in Skyrim. I dunno--just seems like a pointless game mechanic to me that's not worth my time to invest in.

My characters don't marry. It would be a bad move since they have so many enemies. A husband/wife would be something they could exploit.

I haven't yet. But then, I haven't stuck with a character that long yet (only been playing the game a little over a month, though).

This is what I'm thinking with this current character, too. He's made many powerful enemies, and while he may have feelings for one character or another he can't express them for fear of involving those people in dark dealings.

After marrying off my first 3 or 4 characters, I had a series of characters who didn't marry at all, for various reasons, including the only character I've finished the MQ with (so far).

None of my dozen or so characters have ever married. Not really interested in it myself. I was glad they made it an optional feature and didn't try to railroad you into it. None of my characters ever wear an

Before I leave for Solstheim, I plan on walking out on my wedding ceremony in a "I CAN'T DO THIS!!!" manner for the sake of creating drama.

And to the answer the OP's question, my assassin/thief character will get hitched.
