Anyone know about what type of servers we'll have? : Othor Games

I heard that we are getting mega servers which is fantastic! but will it be region locked like American servers, Europeian servers ect....

There will be mega servers for US and EU, but the consoles will have their own separate mega servers as well so technically there are 6 mega servers

What do you mean?
They're Mega servers..everyone from a region and platform is all on the same server

Nope. PC will have two mega servers: The US and EU servers. Xbox One the same and PS4 the same too.

Thanks! ahh ok would have been epic to have the MEGA server cross-platform and multi region, but this would totally make sence to aviod so much lag Thanks again for the help

tgl1992 is right about each platform having an independent mega server. PS4, XBOX One, PC/Mac

We don't know if regional servers US/EU for a platform will act as a single mega server (linked together)or if they will be also independant

So as far as we know it's about 3 or 6 mega servers for US/EU.
