....or an equivalent desktop card like a 5770? Just curious what kinda of settings and fps you're getting.

Well, i don't think Steam has unlocked it for that many yet. Im going to play on an Asus G73JH, and people tell me that i should be able to play it at atleast High with good fps, and maybe even max. Just have to wait and see :)

I've been told high but I would kind of expect more. I can run Crysis 2 on Extreme and BF3 on Ultra give or take a few settings. Also I'll be playing with a controller so 30FPS will do fine since I won't have the quick jerky screen movement that a mouse gives.

What kind of GPU are they putting in the 74 now?

Yeah, i guess we can run it max, maybe. Most likely, the game will run very smooth on High, and maybe some fps drops at max. I mean, i play Witcher 2 on Ultra (Ubersampling off), and i doubt that Skyrim will be more demanding.

Yep, it'll run Witcher 2 as well. Unless the game is just horribly unoptimized (which it may be considering I've seen reports of a gtx 580 only getting 30-50), I expect max with Vsync and AA turned off. The only thing I care about are textures. I won't mind turning down draw distance if I have too.

Slightly better than a 5870m it looks like. Hope it runs well for you.
