I have the day off beacuse I have no lectures every other Friday at Uni, and it has just happened to fall on one of my lecture-less days. A couple of mates who are gamers are doing the same - one is just coming in my room and watching (although he'll probably play 'cos I'd feel like an idiot sat here for hours making him watch lol) and a couple of others have already got it pre-loaded and ready to go.

I have Friday - Monday off, so it's all good :D

I will go to bed as usually 23.00-00.00, then get up at 06.00 and create my character and start playing.

I will be putting off sleep as long as I can after the midnight launch and when I do finally sleep it will probably be passed out drooling into my keyboard.

I have a backup keyboard ready just in case the drool fries the circuitry :D

I'm lucky I guess I'm playing on a 360 sitting on my bed. If I want to pass out I just lean over a bit lol.

Yup.

My friends is taking his 10 and 8 year old to the midnight release. They do not have school tomorrow.

I corrupted them into playing Oblivion on the PS3, then got them into Morrowind on the PC. Hell, the boy (10) has even started using the Construction Set.

They are both as excited as anyone here for Skyrim to be out.

every midnight release of a game i love i do the exact same thing ..... play from midnight till around 7-8am and then end up with a headache the next day and can't play , so i actually lose out and would be better not doing that. Will i learn this time? i doubt it . I'm going to try and quit playing at 4am .

I certainly am trying. I've woke 8am and haven't taken a nap today so I doubt it. Maybe some coffee?

Yeah. I'm not very good at staying up all night, but I'll try.

According to Steam, my copy unlocks at 10 pm. I will commence playing until dawn, and rinse and repeat for the rest of my life. :)
