Anyone Still Play Ponycraft 3 Online? : Othor Games

Considering picking up WC3 again for old times sake but anyone know if it's still played online?

I don't personally play it online, but I do know it is still played online, I logged on just for the heck of it and there were actually quite a few games going on.

I tried to a year ago... than a band of Koreans crushed any motivation I had.

They obsessively play one game over and over and over for a decade. There are still legions of Koreans play Starcraft as if Starcraft II never came out.

Basically, no Blizzard game made after WCII "dies". Huge numbers of people still play Diablo 2, Starcraft: Broodwar, and Warcraft III, although WCIII is probably the least popular of their "older-but-still-popular" games.

I actually prefer Warcraft 3 over Starcraft 2.

I recently bought the battleChest version & even though I have no intention of using it's online capability I am very happy I got it
