Completely agree. This should go for thieve's guild armor too. I hate items that come with enchantments on them, they will never be the exact set of enchantments I want, and I have to choose between looking stylish or having my own enchantments.

It's great if you're not pumping up smithing and enchanting but I'd love unenchanted gear for my characters that do enchant/smith.

Yes. There should be at least one of every piece of armor/clothing that is unenchanted, particularly faction stuff.

Also, you should be able to improve the Ancient Shrouded stuff via smithing. It's annoying that you can't.

Totally agree that we should have access to unenchanted versions of all armor.

Edit - I realize, I think the only pre-enchanted item I do actually like using is Mehrune's Razor.

Is that because it doesn't have the hideous enchanted runes on it? Because I for one can't stand those. They make it impossible to display/hold unique and enchanted weapons because the glow ruins (pun) the entire aesthetic.

It's so terrible that the Daedric Artifacts weapons (not counting the staffs) except Mehrune's Razor all have those runes on them. I hate them so much.
