Switch to the IP board theme. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but the font size is bigger (I didn't realize what you were talking about until I switched ot the icky Warrior theme)

As a fan of avatars with transparency, the bars along the edges of avatars that aren't perfectly square and the new line/shadow thing under them is pretty annoying. Let's see if the IP board looks better, never much liked this theme anyway.

Nope, still ugly. Ah well, at least now I can see how much more spam I need to produce to reach Patriarch.

Good! Now I don't have to log off after every post so I don't feel like I'm lurking.

The link at the very bottom that says "change theme".

The "account bar" (or whatever it was called) no longer follows you as you scroll! Yay!

Edit: also, I choose to imagine that the new default theme was named after me, and so I choose to overlook its faults.

Emoticons work totally different.

To change the theme look in the bottom left hand corner, it is right next to an orange box, under the rating by the ESRB.

Also logging in doesn't take you away from your page.

It saves what you type at certain points, if someone replies while you're typing you can load up the replies from a little notification, you can disable certain peoples sigs or all sigs from an 'X' on the right side of them (makes it look much cleaner and easier to read without them imo), replying and multiquoting don't reload the page and just copy text into the box. That's all I've noticed so far.

I quite happily logged in as anonymous before. I'm just upset that I no longer seem to have a monopoly on it.

Or that I can exercise my paranoia by seeing who's been peering at my profile (yet).

That's good news :bunny: (never noticed this smiley before)

Well, I know some of the mods does this alot in the past, and I started logging as anonymous the 2nd day I found this forum; though its kind of moot if we cannot see who else is looking at the thread though.

It was before the forum change of Jan/Feb 2011. One can log in as Anonymous before that update.

And afterwards. :P

Anyway, this update is going to frustrate my acute sense of nosiness until I can figure out how to see what other people are doing.

Nothing wrong with lurking. I read somewhere that 70% of net users would qualify as lurkers. It's acceptable as long as you don't use it to snipe at topics or people.
