I just have no idea where. I also have no idea when or how I got it. In the Crime stats it says that I have a bounty of 1000. I've talked to guards in every hold capital, yet none of them try to arrest me. Halp meh! Is this a known bug?

The name of the hold which put a reward on you is mentioned. If nothing is mentioned, it means that the bounty has been called off.

Also, check to make sure that isn't under the stat for the highest or something.

There are two stats for my bounty shown in the stats. The other one is highest bounty and the other one is highest lifetime bounty. Both are 1000.

That probably means in the past, then. There should be something there to tell you the current bounty or something. Could you provide a screenie of the stats screen, please?

Since the other one is lifetime highest, I'd assume the other one is my current one. Sorry, I can't be bothered to post a screenshot , I'm lazy like that.

I went to take a screenshot and noticed that the other one is TOTAL lifetime bounty, so I guess the other one might mean highest lifetime bounty after all. Thanks. The wording of the stats could be a bit more clear...

You probably got it without realizing it. I believe 1000 corresponds to murder or being caught in the process of a transformation. For the former, there are many things that could explain it and why no one asked you about it. For the latter, you'd probably know about it.

I had a bounty hunter coming to me ... asking that I pay my bounty of ... zero $$$

Latter when I returned to Falkreath the guards arrested me !!!

Except I never commited any crimes

The only thing that *might* have been considered a crime was something that happened halfway to helgen
when I freed a nord from thalmors buggers, and they attacked me

what's funny is after being released from jail, I provoked countless thalmors into duels,
using the *I'm a Talos worshiper* line, and never got any bounty,
as long as it happened in the wilderness (even once just on the other side of the dragonbridge massive stone bridge)

So, yes, there seems to be a bug there
Especially since Flkreath dudes never tried to arrest me before I met the bounty hunter
I only did a day or two of jail
