I recruited Arcade a while ago. We had some interesting adventures and eventually I sent him packing to the Lucky 38. Today I rolled into the Suite and opened dialogue with Arcade only to find he doesn't have the "I think we should travel together" option. He does have it if I have another human companion with me(so I can hear his rejection), but otherwise nothing.

can only assume you did something he dont approve of or got a bad rep with someone he likes.a bit wierd these guys,like cass felt the need to tell me im an [censored] and im all like what the hell did i do?shoulda kicked her ass for that

I don't think so. The Legion hates me, I haven't murdered a single innocent so far, and I double-checked the Fallout wiki and according to it I would have 2 "like" points and no "dislike" points.

Just wanted to update this and say I solved the problem. After going through Honest Hearts and going back to the Lucky 38, I did get the proper "Let's travel together" option. Testing showed that the option disappears when ED-E or Rex are active companions.

I was having the same problem on my second playthrough, what I did to fix this is make sure you have no companions and then go talk to Arcade and the option should be there.
