Who was the cooler looking Ancient Vampire?
Who gave you a better boss fight?

These are the two coolest boss fights in skyrim so far, they gave me a good beating and i think they could mop the floor with Alduin. So which one of these powerful ancient vampire lords do you think is better?

I think Vyrthur was cooler,

2. Vyrthur - as cooler mechanics, and more epic boss fight, but he himself droped after 3 hits, so not a hard one. Harkon was more resiliant and that non-stop bat teleporting.

Harkon was definitely a harder fight. He kept becoming invisible, making it hard to track him amidst all of the confusion. He moves fast. And he has the bat-dodge move. He didn't cause me much damage, but he was an SOB to track down. Took more hits to kill him than Vyrthur as well.

The inner sacntum is obviously more beautiful, but I am not sure I would count that as a "vampire lair." I did like how Bethesda forced to you to watch his speech, smart move on the designer's part.

My biased opinion would be vyrthur. But that's because I like snow elves quite a bit. Harkon was a better vampire though, in every aspect

Lore wise Vyrthur is more powerful as well, since he's the one who actually created the prophecy to blot out the sun

I am unclear as to whether he created it, or uncovered it. It is not possible that he made the elder scroll since they are supposedly fragments of creation.

By finding a way to blot out the sun he did indirectly write the elder scroll and create the prophecy

...because in the end I killed them all and can sit on their throne, sleep in their bed (with their daughter/wife) whenever I feel like it. Booyachaka.

I named the boss fight with Vyrthur to be one of my favorite boss fights in all of the TES series. It was just so epic. Harkon though, I found to be a better character overall. Vyrthur was just a far more fun and better fight. Fighting Harkon was fun, but not that challenging for some reason. Yet, with Vyrthur, he did some massive amounts of damage to me.

Hahah good answer.. from my made-up lore, my Argonian vampire has been around since Daggerfall (play the same character, essentially. Nightblade vampire)

So I killed many god-like beings.

I thought Vyrthur was a much better character and a much better boss fight.

I havent fought harkon yet (my quest broke after getting the bow)

But I think lorewise harkon would have to be more powerful... hes the original vampire lord isnt he? or did i miss out somewhere

I was under the impression that harkon must have become a vampire lord wayyyyyy back when, and through him and his little buddies infecting people they eventually bagged a snow elf who then went off and infected vyrthur and then while harkon was p[artying with his wife and daughter for thousands of years vyrthur was thinking up ways to give god the finger
