Archery - combat or stealth?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 1:40 am

Hi guys. As much as I've seen at UESP, archery belongs with combat. I'm playing Dunmer and I activated the warrior stone in order to improve it more quickly. Now I'm level 10 and I must admit that my archery is increasing poorly even though I rely on my bow at least 90% of the time. In contrast, my one-handed skill is increasing rapidly (almost as high as archery) considering that I use it rarely. So, is it possible that archery is actually a stealth skill rather than combat? If I remember right that was the case in Oblivion.

It is considered part of the stealth family of skills in Skyrim.

EDIT: Oops, I am incorrect. It is a combat skill under the warrior sign

Thanks. I suspected so. Can you tell me, by any chance, what's your source of info?
