Archery skill lowered, and in red : V

Just got done killing the Ice Wraith for the Stormcloaks on my Archer/Thief character. Leveled up as well. Went to up the Archery, only to find that it was knocked down to 15 and highlighted in red. o.O

Checked Magic > Active whatever and there is nothing there besides my gear and racial bonuses.

This happened to me, I think from a Thalmor Justiciar. I think the effect may just be cosmetic, but I got rid of it by training a point in that skill. I think it might also go away if you raise the skill normally.

Yep, that's what did it for me. Good to know, I guess. Ha

It's a bug that can occur with skills right now. To fix it, level up by training, the console command, or try naturally leveling it. Then the skill will display and function correctly.

Drink a cure disease potion.

The same thing happened to my One-Handed skill, after a while it just went away. I don't know what did it, as I used a cure disease potion, prayed at a shrine, and leveled the skill.
