In my case, I was curious if the steam version takes into account your entire gaming score for achievements rather than just keeping track of one save like it did in FO3? For example, the damage from each weapon type. or getting all of the companions and such...

Also, while i'm at it. Do companions just utilize stimpacks for healing, or do they use stuff like healing powder too?

As far as I know the achievement scores are not cumulative - you have the get them in an "independent" playthrough - and companions only use stims.

The heal 10,000 HP for stimpaks and food is just way to much. I don't think I took anywhere near 10,000 points of damage during my play through.

Find every location the game has to offer, you'll get them easily enough that way.

Not true at all really. I found every single location in the game playing on very hard - hardcoe and when it was all said and done I had only healed around 3000 points with stimpaks and 1000 with food. I also did every single quest, marked and unmarked, I could find and thoroughly explored every location.

Do it all again with melee weapons.
