I really want to put a forged receiver on my weapons, but since I do occasionally use weapon repair kits on them, having the condition reduced can be pretty annoying.

Did Obsidian fix this in the latest patch, or is it still bugged?

For me, yes. I modded a Brush Gun to check, post patch and it's still borken. Same bug as before.

According to the wiki you can fix this using the console. See "Bugs" section of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Service_rifle_forged_receiver.

It is combination of WRK and forged receivers thats bugged, not forged receivers themself.

My Brush Gun ish happy with extra 50% of condition.
